The spring stretches to a maximum weight of 20kg, so it still bounces until after your baby is too big to fit in the hammock anymore.

You can put in a firm lounge cushion, or our optional extra cushion designed for the best size and firmness, to create a level base. Then lay a sheepskin on top to create a lush bed.

If your baby has colic or reflux you can adjust the cushion so that the head is higher. Or you can leave the cushion out altogether so the baby is cradled upright in a womb-like position.

With one hand on the hanger, you can bounce even the most unsettled baby off to sleep while you soothe them with your voice and eye contact.

Your baby recognises the undulating motion, combined with cradling, as a signal that it is safe and nurtured. This deeply relaxes your baby which facilitates sleep, even for babies who are light sleepers, or who suffer from gastro-intestinal disorders such as infant colic or infant reflux.

Research has shown that premature babies in baby hammock incubators gain weight, mature faster (including in hearing and vision), and are generally calmer than those not in hammocks.
