I am in love!!
Your hammock is amazing!!
My 7& ½ month old fell asleep easily in it first time and slept for half an hour. His eyes opened and I
bounced him back for another 15minutes. I thought then that even if that was the longest he did, it was
still so much easier for me – he was in the lounge/kitchen area so I could keep an eye on him and carry
on with the things I needed to do. But more importantly, I could bounce him to sleep with my 3yr old
there, re-settle him with my 3yr old there, and chat to her all the time! Whereas before I was secreted
in the bedroom with dire warnings to her to be silent!
But it gets better!
He did over 2hours in there for his afternoon sleep!!! I could not believe it!
My 3yr old and I didn’t know what to do with ourselves!! She had such lovely mummy time with me again
– and she was so much calmer and happier as a result.
I had to bounce him a few times when he stirred or woke, but back he went!!
He has not done longer than half an hour before without needing a fairly long re-settle, usually involving
being fed back to sleep. And even then he wakes again after another 20mins to half an hour.
And we used it in the evening when he usually wakes every half hour to an hour. He woke after an hour
and a half – but he was crying and chewing his hand (he has just cut his top 2 teeth together) so I’m sure
it was teething that woke him. He couldn’t quite resettle so I fed him and put his amber teething necklace
back on, and then back he went – and I had to get him up hours later when I went to bed. He was fast
asleep and didn’t wake until his head touched the bed in our room.
We hadn’t arranged anywhere for him to hang in our bedroom yet but will do today so will possibly try him
at night time too.
It has made such a huge difference to my life already!! And probably to his – he can get enough sleep now!
Oh, and my 3yr old climbed in after my baby’s 2hour marathon sleep – she needs to do everything he
does at the moment (and fair enough – what a wonderful comfy looking bed it is!) – and she slept for
half an hour, and that’s for someone who has dropped her day sleeps!
So that might be our only issue – juggling between the 2 of them!
And it is so beautiful!! It looks wonderful hanging there, bobbing gently.
Thank you so, so much again – why have I only discovered you now??!!!
Xo,
Belinda.
HI Sharon, I imagine you will remember me. We met at the Bangalow markets where my daughter Ostara fell
asleep in your hammock for two hours and my brother handed out your leaflets! I'm writing to thank you and
let you know that our hammock has been a great success. Ostara seemed to be very unhappy about coming
into the world and despite my best efforts she would only fall asleep on my lap for about 45 mins at a time,
even as a small baby.
As soon as we were home we put your hammock up and at 10 months of age she happily slept in it twice a day
for 1-2 hours, sometimes with a little smile on her face. It was also a Godsend during flu season here Ostara
was able to sleep propped up to allow her to breathe until I was ready to take her to bed. Previously I have
spent many nights sleeping with her in a chair.
Your hammock seems to have restored a sense of peace in our house and it even seems to have bought it's
own lovely energy with it, which I imagine comes from you.
So thank you, we are very grateful.

Just letting you know that we received the hammock and is working beautifully. I was initially concerned as
when I put him in he started pulling himself up and got to sitting and almost fell out. I obviously put him in
when he wasn't tired and he was excited by the new hammock. Since then we have put him in when tired
and also pinned up the back and that is working fantastically. It is much gentler bounce than the Miyo and
it has taken him a little while to start bouncing himself, but he's back into it now.
Thank-you for your help on the phone.
The hammock is such a beautiful design and I wish that I could sleep in it!
